I used the G4560 in another example

I just picked the lowest price psu 80+ bronze and other parts

Just to show that it can be done and done for a lot less then $400 if you wanted to.

Just because it's bronze doesn't mean it's any good tho

Not recommending anyone buy it either

80+ bronze is just an efficiency I picked and this was the cheapest one

OP asked was it possible to play 30fps 1080p under $400usd.

Yes technically it's just an "is it possible thing," but it's also likely op might take these recommendations seriously.

I've already explained why I put it in the list.

Personally I have no experience with Rosewill power supplies so I can't tell you if they are good or bad quality. It was the first one on the cheapest on the list of a very commonly purchased efficiency.

Ignore efficiency rating. Its as good as irrelevant when it comes to quality. There are Bronze rated units that are better quality than some Gold rated units. Rosewill make some good PSUs, but I have no idea about the Arc units. I'd stick with the EVGA 450 B(V) for budget systems since its such a cheap PSU. It's not very good quality but for the price, it's unbeatable, and it's better than wasting $50ish on a PSU just to get a 'good' unit, at least when the budget is low.

ShopRBC is just the online store for RB Computers. They have been based in Ottawa for 20 years now. They are a good retailer. To survive 20 years in the computer retail biz in Ottawa you need to be a good retailer.

I know Direct Canada is NCIX.

PC Canada I've never dealt with.

Newegg.ca is great. I've had no issues with returns (I keep my original pakaging) and they some great deals.

I'd like to think efficiency rating should give some indication of the efficiency of the power supply under various loads and well nothing else. lol

Ya I'm in Ottawa.

Not a lot of reasonably priced small local retail shops here.

I try to take advantage of free shipping options.

I was happy for time that NCIX had I store front here saved me cost of shipping to have it sent to the store for me to pick up the couple times I bought from them.

Now I find unless its a great price or I have to have it today I'll just go online find the deal lol

Things on the market place can take longer to arrive. I've waited 3-4 weeks for stuff I've ordered that has been shipped from China. I have had no tracking provided

Items I've bought from Newegg usually arrive in a 24hr to 4 day window depending on if it is shipped from Toronto or BC.  As for shipping costs I tried to take advantage of free shipping when possible but eventually I found that it was worth paying the premier membership and get the free shipping that provides. I order enough that I have saved 3 times the cost of the membership in shipping costs now.

I wonder how long that NCIX will still be open.

Rumers are they are not doing well all over.

nope, directly from newegg

pretty sure its shipped from toronto, as im in toronto. :( there is no free shipping on the 1070 i bought, and i dont really buy parts often and when I do, NCIX is local and usually cheaper, but this one time newegg was cheaper on a 1070.

Strange you couldn't just pick it up or something like that lol

A week to go from Toronto to Toronto, I'd be asking them some questions and asking for shipping refund lol

Its sickness I can't help myself I need to buy computer components.

Seriously I live in a roughly 600sq apartment and I have 4 computers setup and each one has its own totally justifiable reason for its need.

Newegg has a warehouse in Richmond Hill, if you drive, Vuugo has a warehouse in Markham, NCIX also in Markham, Direct Canada is NCIX so you can trust it. Mike's computer is in Markham but you can have it shipped to Canada. MemoryExpress is mainly in Alberta, PC-Canada is in Kitchener, shopRBC is also in Ontario but I forget where. I've ordered from all of them expect PC-Canada since it's never the cheapest, Newegg, NCIX and Vuugo allow in person pickup to skip shipping charges. I was skeptical at first too but they are all legit, so no point paying more than you have to. Newegg, I've ordered in the morning and picked it up within 2h.

Not worth it too far, no car

interesting

why is ncix direct Canada? Little weird

never heard of it, isn't in PCPP so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

memoryexpress is in Alberta so, large shipping times and prices. No go

kitchener is way too far away.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ maybe I'll try them if I need paste or something but I'm defiantly not trying with a $600 GPU :)

Give it a shot, you'll be surprised, especially the ones in Ontario have fast shipping and free shipping if you spend a certain amount. As for direct Canada and NCIX, Most likely to make it seem like you are getting a deal, one lowers the price, while the other raises it, you think you're saving money but it's the same parent company. It's the same crap Future Shop and Best Buy pulled for a few years even though the former was bought out by the latter.

Are you concerned about the over all detail or look of the game wile playing at 30fps?

The difference between low and ultra settings can be big

I'd be playing games like GTA V , Arma 2 & 3 , Ark Survival (I use to play this on a i3 530 and it wasn't a great experience lol) and a few other games that are much less demanding or equal to the ones i named, about medium quality with 30+ fps so kinda in between

in that case any of the builds folks have provided should work just fine for that. Just try to find the components in the color you want
