Opinion on a build before I continue

Hello!

I've been doing some research and playing around on pcpartpicker and I got a build together.

The usage will be light gaming + VR gaming + heavy game/software/VR development + light content creation. I don't plan on overclocking at the moment. Although it shouldn't be too difficult, so I might in the future.

I'm currently on dual monitors, both 1080p 60hz for now. I'm more focused on creating and using VR content.

I'll be buying in Canada. I also plan on buying this am4 bracket for hyper cooler.

I'd like your opinions and maybe if I should change something in the builds. Is there anything I should be worried about? Are all these compatible?

I'm planning to buy in the next few weeks.

Thanks!

That's not the point. CAD is worth far less than USD so as soon as you make the change it will shoot above his budget.

Nice build but the $36 on a hyper 212 is completely wasted. The 1700's stock cooler isn't much worse + looks better. Either use the surprisingly good stock cooler or get a premium air cooler/AIO. Buying a budget air cooler when the stock cooler is decent (even has RGB :P ) is a waste imo

Not sure if you were going for a white theme, if not then I would go with this.

Whoa, thanks everyone for all your help! It's amazing.

I can see that everyone unanimously recommend to downgrade the Ryzen to a 1700 to upgrade something else - so I will!

For the motherboard, I see a lot of different ones here :  ASRock - X370 Killer SLI ATX AM4Asus - STRIX B350-F GAMING ATX AM4Asus - PRIME B350-PLUS ATX AM4, etc.

Are the Asus mobos much better than the MSI I linked in my build? Which one should I go for / how should I decide?
