Well... if you buy Final Cut Pro X video editing on Mac OS X is pretty good

Personally I wouldn't go with either of them as well.

 

But if I HAD TO CHOOSE. I guess I'd go with the Mac. Oh what am I saying.... it ultimately comes down to what you want to use the laptop for. Then I can give you a better answer.

Yup. And Davinci Resolve seems to like Macs. Runs terribly on my PC, but when I boot into Mac (It's a Hackintosh dual-booter) it works Fien, with the same settings and everything. Macs are great for creative types.

Need a new laptop and i dont know which one to go with..... I use my laptop for general thing, light gaming and lot of video watching

 

 

I'd go with neither.

You're not going to have nearly as many options for gaming on a Mac, and Alienware is quite overpriced.

 

What's your budget? What games do you want to play at what settings and resolution? What are your preferences? (Thickness? Weight? Color? IPS or TN display? Size? Backlit keyboard? Etc..)

Some Zenbooks are fine but the Zenbook Pro UX501VW which might be viewed as a Macbook Pro competitor isn't something I would recommend, due to the PenTile (RG/BW) not-true-4K display, and its relatively poor touch solution (gap touch layer rather than bonded touch layer).

You treat us like monkeys by throwing 2 laptops and ask us to choose one not knowing what would they be used for "MAINLY".

 

So in order to express my opinion you should go for Acer Predator 21X and you should be covered of whatever sh!t you need a laptop for.
