Safe Temps for PETG

I'm going to be doing a custom loop for my CPU and wait to upgrade my GPU and get a water block for it, but I am wondering what is the safe temps for PETG since the heat gun I'm looking at only operates at 500F and 1000F

Im mostly on discord now and you can find me on my profile

My Build: Xeon 2630L V, RX 560 2gb, 8gb ddr4 1866, EVGA 450BV

My Laptop #1: i3-5020U, 8gb of DDR3, Intel HD 5500

It's not something I've looked into like that, but you can just hold the PETG further away if is too hot, you will know if it is as it will bubble

It's not so much the heat, it's the length of time and distance from it.

Get some extra tubing and experiment at first. I would recommend making a good liberal guess on how much tubing you'll need and double it to make sure you've got plenty for mistakes :)

500F should be plenty at a few inches away from the heat source, slowly turning it of course.

Yep I'll watch videos when I'm planning out and finalizing my loop

Yup, this is the exact advice I give to new rigid tubing builders, hell ive just finished my 3rd hard line loop and still ordered 50% extra - turns out I needed it as well!
