I may have found something(Help please)

Ok so it all started when I got 2 Sony desktop PCs and I didn't know until Now like 10 mins before posting this that the MB to them is $450 but none of the boards for sale look like mine.

 

I could use help trying to solve this, none of them for sale anywhere except a sold out newegg listing.

So then I came to this forum to see if anyone has knowledge of this model.

I have 1 motherboard and 1 whole PC

I did replace the power supply because it was noisy but I can put it back in, also upgraded RAM to Max.

I don't understand what you are asking exactly, what is it you're trying to do? Do you want to buy or sell something? Do you need a replacement motherboard? Are you looking for a value estimate?

 

If you're looking for more information on a precise model, you should look for a serial number somewhere on the object itself.

I'm not sure you could get any money for the whole system, and may have to pay to actually recycle it. You're better off just creating a virtual machine inside of your personal desktop which would have much more processing power.

It's not $450 because its rare, it's $450 because its old and stock for new parts is extremely limited. Supply/Demand, basic economics.

Don't believe the prices new, I had a 1GB HDD for an old apple mac, On eBay they where listed for £100 but mine was listed for three months. They are only worth what someone will pay.

I didnt think the way I worded my sentence was rude, just factual. Apologies if it seemed "superior than thou" in any way

You can't get any money for it, and it will cost you to throw it away (process is more expensive than the material is worth). This computer is from ~2004, 13 years old.

Ok googled the motherboard model, no results... Intel desktop board (D915GRO)

If you want to sell it just list it on eBay and wait to see what someone will pay for it. Like @Mikensan said It probably wont sell it for much.

Nah just going to develop a Mycroft a.i OS with it, check out Mycroft, it's really cool
