So I have gtx 1060 and i5 4460. I sometimes have annoying fps drops which I hate.My PSU is not branded and its made by company which only works here at my country ( Croatia ). So I know that it is MS( MS is that company )  but i dont know what MS PSU it really is. And what i do know is that is 500w. I think gtx 1060 only needs 400w but my games still drop fps.

Yes and no, it depends on the model of the powers supply. In most case, bigger names have usually better PSU than no name PSU like yours. You might want to invest in better PSU? If i can't even google the company, i don't think i will trust it.

They source their PSUs from suppliers. Like a certain Seasonic and EVGA PSU are the same, I can't give you a specific one because I'd have to look it up. Just like Monitor Panels. They are sources, ACER, ASUS, etc. don't make it. So for example. The 165Hz IPS montiors that ACER and ROG have are the same panel.

Also warranty.

I'd guess you mean MS-Tech.

That's a German Company AFAIR. And it's best to be avoided at all costs!!

It's just garbage...

In General the brand in PSU is absolutely irrelevant. Everyone can make an awesome PSU - if they want to (and know what they are doing)!

Everyone can make garbage - if they want to.

it all depends on the PM making those things...

Not entirely.

They tell the PSU manufacturers what they want and they build what they order.

Even if 2 PSU look identical, there can be some major differences for example one has an aggressive fan controller, the other has not. Or one is optimized for better electrical performance. Or Higher Efficiency....

The PSU you are talking about has to be testet to be sure. Though you can take an educated guess how good/bad that one should be.

The frame drops are not due to the psu but you should look into buying a psu from a reputable brand like corsair or eggs because they ussually have better components in them

eggs?

not to sure how much power you can get from eggs

100% correct but a quality PSU is the foundation to a stable system so with out worrying about brand find something quality one way to tell is build quality and price.

Well, I didn't think I'd need to explain that since I explained the monitor panels. The panel is sourced. There are exceptions of course. But besides the panel, is R&D'd by the manufacturer. Included but not limited to, housing, inclusion of Freesync/Gsync, I/O, etc. I couldn't explain it as well with PSU's since I don't know it exactly.

However, I think Seasonic actually makes their PSUs and sources it out. May be wrong. Won't look into it tho.

I know because I've worked for a PSU companys 5 years ago or so ;)

Essentially a good Contract Manufacturer does everything you want - they might attach a price to it. But if you want an 80plus titanium PSU from XHY with 1% Voltage Regulation, they will make one for you. Won't be cheap, but they will make it...

It all comes down to what YOU want, what you want the PSU sell for and what are you willing to pay for R&D.
