3D Printer Firmware help

Hello LTT community,

I have started a new exciting 3d printing project!

The projects involves a printer that I kickstarted purely for fun, and didn't expect to work well. I kickstarted and received a 101HERO printer, and have had nothing but troubles with it even after following several guides on how to fix the issues, I have given up on the included electronics. I created and 3d printed a custom hot end mount with spare parts from other printers, and have a spare Sanguinololu board I would like to implement. I can upload some pictures of the mechanical improvements if people seem interested. The trouble I am running into is that the Sanguinololu board was designed ( I believe..) for a solidoodle printer, and I am attempting to adapt it to a delta style printer. I was thinking about borrowing the firmware from H2 DIY delta printer from Seemecnc. This issue is that the H2 uses different electronics than what I have available, and I'm not sure how to see if the pin mappings are the same between the electronics sets. Does anyone here know how I can check or suggest a different firmware to run the printer with? I'm open to any information or suggestions!

Thanks in advance!

mechanical improvements yes please! seems like a good place to start: http://reprap.org/wiki/Sanguinololu a lot of info in there so not sure if it's of any help.

http://forums.reprap.org/read.php?158,694977 maybe this too. if you can get marlin on it it'll be easy (probably)

Alright, I'll take some pictures quick of what I have done so far to the printer.

Alright, I got rid of their old hot end design, as I didn't like it at all. I 3d printed a new base to accommodate the spare hot end I had from a different seemecnc machine. I used some aluminum standoffs that I had on hand, and laser cut an acrylic top to support the hot end. I am currently printing some motor mounts to switch the printer over from the smaller steppers to some NEMA 17 motors I got for it.

I took a look at the links, and I believe it has marlin on it currently, so re-flashing it shouldn't be a problem. I downloaded the marlin firmware and read through some of the code. It seems like they suggest modifying the existing configuration.h files for delta printers located in the example configurations/delta folder. I don't think those files are made for the sanguinololu board, and may need some helping finding out which one is best.
