AM4 APUs

Are they out? Some videos of testing them are online on YouTube but I don't see them in stores.

It's not uncommon for reviewers to get review and engineering samples before the product is actually on store shelves.

Yeah I know but there's a restriction on date when they can release the video. And I've seen some small channels testing them so I doubt they got a review samples.

Since AM4 launch they were only available to oem's (hp, dell etc)

 

Now, they're available in retail as well but keep in mind they're NOT Zen core based (not Ryzen performance)  - they're using 2 very efficient, optimized cores from before Zen (the cores inside Ryzen) and the graphics are of the R5 / R7 level (not Polaris or Vega Light)

First APUs with Ryzen cores will be this winter, maybe Spring next year.

Restriction dates don't have to be the same as the release date. It's up to the manufacturers discretion.

Unlikely your seeing Raven ridge being tested but I could be wrong
