Galaxy S5 Upgrade

My dad is going to gift my mother a new smartphone next month. 
He is looking for a significant upgrade. Her S5 is running slow, so it needs to be something fast. Nothing fancy, with quadtrouple cameras, dual sim or 4k display is needed. 

Something Slim, fast and affordable. 

 

She defenetly wants her to stick with android, so no Apple.

His Budget is around 300-400 Euros. Please recommend everything.

Pretty sure no phone has a 4k display to my knowledge

Only 1080p is out right now man on phone displays nothing more

Billy_Mays a couple Sony phones did. I'd recommend the S8 + not sure what the price of it is over there otherwise something from One Plus. I'm more than likely going to upgrade from my S8 + to the Note 8 when it releases just due to battery size and the RAM on it could be an extra gig or two then it would be perfect. Good luck to your guys on your phone hunt though!

Nope there's some with a 1440p screen (LG G5)

Then why has Samsung had 1440p screens for the last couple years, and Sony having a couple 4k screens.

Ahh I wasn't sure of phone prices there due to the state I'm in having well a metric fuck load of tax.

Honestly man the best phone he's going to get for that price range is indeed the One Plus 3T, nothing in that price range is much of an upgrade

The Sony Xperia XZ Premium has a 4K native display, though it doesn't run at 4K all the time.

I was trying to be funny with the 4k Thingy :/ She doesnt needs anything fancy.

My father wants something faster, since shes argueing about how slow it is whilest browsing amazon and playing Pokemon. Ill Show him the OnePlus 3T.
