Games I played - CSGO (FPS), Dota 2 (MOBA)

Preference:

1. Cheap

2. Compact (numpad not necessary)

3. Mechanical switches would be a plus

Note that I don't live in US so availability of some products may be an issue

Any suggestions?

Breaks your budget but this is the cheapest you'll find for genuine Cherry switches:

http://www.corsair.com/en-us/strafe-mechanical-gaming-keyboard-cherry-mx-brown-ch-9000500-na-refurbished

As for clone switches, I'm sure you could find plenty on Amazon. Make sure you know if you want linear (red), clicky (blue), or "silent clicky" (brown). I prefer my Cherry Browns now but it's all personal taste.

I know my link is out of your price range but I highly suggest saving up a bit more for a keyboard that will last you a while. Having gone through 4-5 keyboards now, I'm glad I finally settled on the real deal.

I got a E-Element Z77 from Taobao for under S$40, try Taobao, a good place to get some cheap Chinese mechanical keyboards.

Not bad for something that cost me only 30 odd dollars. The only downside is that it took 2 weeks to reach Singapore.

Looks decent, like something I would pickup for that price myself. The white backlight one looks clean.
