Ikea desk problems

so based off of the recommendation from a few people on ltt i purchased 2 ikea tabletops and put them together for a L shaped desk. The problem i have is the desks are not sturdy at all, my main desk is bending in due to my monitor stand.

Im looking for suggestions for a new desk, i would like something sturdier than ikea table tops. I havent been able to find anyone locally to make a top for me. I have the legs from ikea still, they seem to be much better quality.)

thanks

Picture of how you have the legs, please. If possible unless privacy is a concern.

i have an ikea linnmon tabletop and it works fine but i added 2 extra legs to  help with the weight i also mand a monitor stand out of a ikea shelf and capita legs.

The monitor stand helps spread the weight, so it acually works. i you ahve the room, the ikea diningroom tabletops are much  more sturdier.. thats what ive heard.

id rather spend more at this point to get something that i can use for the future. money is not really a huge deal to me.

edit: instead of trying to piece ikea stuff together

I dont think ikea sells anything that's actually sturdy. And dont get funiture advice from a bunch of teenage computer geeks. Half the people here call a beanbag a chair.

According to my Mother who makes a lot of furniture like bookshelves:
The problem with 90% of Ikea furniture is the material they are made of in the inside: A quick glance at "Hilver" it says: Filling material: Honeycomb structure recycled paper filling, Particleboard. (AKA What she considers junk)
I recall more wood table tops that had the similar filling material, but they don't look like they are selling them anymore.

You recall the name of the table top you got?

As far as I am aware there is only 1 Table top Desk they have that is actually made of solid wood: Gerton, which is solid Beech wood.
Thats what I got myself, and then my mom made the right legs (technically bookshelf). Its a lot more stable, and solid then the legs and cabinets they sell. That reminds me... now that it's summer I should ask if she can make new left legs...

its a little bitt unclear, i pretty much have the same as you but with 2 rxtra legs, that helps out a lot :)

for ikea, The OPPEBY diningrom tabletop is made out real wood not recycled paper so i think that with some good legs or cabinest/drwaer unit will be a good foundation.

Yeah expect to pay some good $$ if you want solid wood just telling ya.
I turned to the Gerton just cause I couldn't find a single desk I liked anywhere and have a carpenter in the family who can make custom legs.

Question: Im guessing there is no metal bar reinforcement on the underside of the table?
Btw: That is an interesting Case I gotta say.
