hello LTT forum,

I posted last night needing some help to build a pc that could run games pretty well and can run autocad. My budget was around 700$ and I modified a parts list put together by @deXxterlab97. Would you all be able to help me by letting me know if there any changes I should make or if it is good how it is.

Thank you

The build looks good for 60FPS+ gaming at 1080p. The only thing is I've heard that the CXM line up of Corsair PSU's are pretty shitty. I'd suggest upgrading to an EVGA - B3 550W 80+ Bronze Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply.

Define 'shitty', they both won't explode in a system that requires less than 300W, no big deal.

The new grey-label CXM is actually very decent. Tier 3 (due to sleeve bearing fan). The old CX models had a 30°C rating, the new ones are rated at 40°C

If its fits in the budget yea, but if you can find a 980 for sub $180 (or $200 if the budget permits) get it

The new CXMs are excellent and if you have a ball bearing fan they would be in Tier 2.

@seon123 @Jrock my bad. I've just been told time and time again by the members on here that those PSU's aren't very good.

It's the old ones. They made like 10 different models with varying levels of quality.
