Install win 10, new system, usb

Hey,

I will help my gf build her PC soon. She has most parts new (including ssd, so nothing is stored), and some from my old setup. I just need to know how I install windows 10 on it through a USB. I have an 8gb USB stick atm, will buy a larger one if necessary. I will also buy a fresh Windows 10 license.

Thankz

Just grab the Media Creation Tool from here:

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

Point it to the USB drive and it will do the rest.

The 8gb is big enough. If I remember correctly it only takes about 4gb. Once you have it on the USB, make sure your boot priority is set to USB. save and exit bios, and it will begin the install.

Best Excuses:

#1(simple) "Well, I never liked that stupid thing anyway!"

#2(complex) "Obviously there was a flaw in the material, probably due to the inadvertent introduction of contaminants during the manufacturing process."

With an 8gb usb you should have enough space left to put the latest drivers for hardware or other software you may need to complete the setup on the same usb stick. Making things so much easier having it all in one place.
