Okay, I sold my gtx 970 recently due to mining and price increases (got a sizzling $200) and I've been running off of my firepro v3800 as a backup, but after digging through some boxes I found an r7 240. I want to use the r7 240 on one display and the v3800 on the other 2. my monitors are 2x dvi and 1x displayport. the v3800 has 1x dp and 1x dvi, the r7240 has the usual hdmi vga dvi layout for cheap cards. I have the r7 240 in pcie slot 1 and the v3800 in slot 2 in an lga 1366 x58 sabertooth board. The r7 240 is powering my main display, but no cigar on the other two from my v3800. Help plzs.

Wait, you want to CF or just run it seperately?

If you wanted to CF it won't work. The V3800 is based on the Redwood PRO chip, and the R7 240 is based on the Oland PRO chip. Different chips = won't work.

From what I see, it sounded like the CF wasn't working and you wanted to CF them.

Anyways I don't have more tips so ask someone else.

Do Firepro require different drivers to be installed?

You may have to do both if thats the case.... (Like Nvidia/AMD mix's)

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz
