Its enough power, but its not really that great quality so I would upgrade it first. The CPU shouldnt bottleneck it though (Not in most games at least).

I mean the PSU is pretty low quality, but it has enough power. Many lower end PSU's don't output what they advertise in wattage. Your CPU is fine for a 1060, although even the latest i5's sit at 90-100% usage in many games. It might bottleneck a bit, but nothing to worry too much about. If you can afford it, get a new PSU along with the GPU. Any PSU from the tier 1-3 category is fine:

400W will be more than enough by the way, as long as its a good PSU.

Exactly this.

The PSU has the power but not the quality, if you get a new GPU make sure to have a good one :)

CPU bottleneck should be non-existant to minimal.

To everyone in this thread cautioning your current CPU and PSU... ignore them. They're correct your PSU isn't the greatest of quality, but its definitely plenty good for a system like yours. Your components will not put anywhere near the kind of strain on your PSU where you will need to worry about it, and your components are not so overclocking dependent that you need worry about things like extremely tight voltage regulation/delivery. Its a good match for your system. If you feel like you want to upgrade anyway, then fine, its not a bad idea by any means.... but its hardly a requirement.

As far as your CPU goes for potential bottlenecking.... provided you're playing 1080p on a 60hz panel and intend on playing most of your games on ultra settings.... you will not experience any kind of CPU bottlenecking in the overwhelming majority of games when paired with a gtx 1060 6GB... and the few times you do, it will usually be in a game like Civ 6, or Cities: Skylines, where having slightly less fps doesn't really affect the enjoyment of the game, and it will still be smooth in pretty much every instance.... so again, if you have the money and you feel like upgrading your CPU then fine, go for it... but don't feel obligated to do so.

I have a new lg 24 1080p 144hz monitor, until now 960 was fine

will it bottleneck cpu if I play on 120 hz ??

Depends on the game, but honestly your GPU will probably run out of performance before your CPU does most of the time, unless you're willing to turn down your graphical settings in some games to reach those framerates. A game like Overwatch or LoL or whatever... CPU and GPU will be totally fine. A game like BF 1, Witcher 3, or any other intensive AAA game and then your requirements for 120hz+ will vary from title to title
