bad SSD or bad me?

is it time to retire my "old" ssd or am i just doing something completely wrong

randomly stops being read by windows when installed properly, even after changing sata ports, my 2 1TB drives in raid 0 work fine same with my M.2 OS drive
runs fine when plugged into a USB port, even though it is a bit slower than expected but well, usb

comes back in good condition, no errors and speeds are at ~550 read and ~480 write give or take

tried different sata cables, even unplugged my raid array to test

Does this happen with another computer? If it happens with another PC, it might be the SSD.

got no other computer that will be able to use it, well none that work any way

Does the same happen to other drives with the same ports and cables? If it only occurs with the problematic SSD, your answer is clear.
