I want a cheap projector. I'm ok with a low resolution one like this one likely is

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LZRUY6Q

But I cannot find the actual refresh rate listed anywhere. It seems there's a lot of options for cheap projectors that are decent for movies, but idk about light gaming.

I want a cheapest 60Hz projector that has reasonable input latency. (Doesn't have to be great, but not like 150-200ms)

I will eventually drop money on a good one for home, but for now I want something I can set up for like mario cart and shit.

Look at the Epson 2000 series. They run around $500 to $800. Contrast is somewhat lacking and black levels are horrendous. But dammit you get 60 Hz :)

is that the minimum price range I'm looking at for 60fps, even at like 480p? Well, at that point if I'm making an investment like that I might as well spend a few hundred more and get a great one.

I don't really know if 480p projectors still exist? You probably won't find one by a reputable company.

well that 99$ one I linked certainly isn't really 1080p, rather just accepts the signal. I imagine it's 800x480 or something.

There are still some 800 x 600 ones from major brands (most are down to like $200 - $300). Many of them can even display at 120 Hz.

Typically. Here's an example:

They are even cheaper here in Asia.
