well, @Revan654  you probably know this i assume?

i have seen some thick AF 480mm rads around but i dont remmeber what they were called. there are also those crazy 360x360mm panels of radiators around so thats another option. you could also go phase change if you want even more extreme cooling and cost isnt a bother

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

It's dependent, having a thicker radiator doesn't make as much of a difference as a longer radiator. The more fans you can put on the radiator (or radiators) the more cooling their will be. Thickness has less effect but you can still do that if you would like

Here are two examples:

360

480

http://www.performance-pcs.com/scratch-dent-alphacool-nexxxos-monsta-480-radiator.html

These are Alphacools NexXxos Monsta radiators, which is what you wanted with thickness but more importantly length. Then just do some quality high static fans and you can turn the RPM's up as high as you can for them and you will have the coolest you can get.

Just remember, its more important to have length then girth *wink wink* as you can add more fans. so having a monsta 120 rad compared to a 240 ultra slim, the ultra slim will probably cool better. Also make sure that you are adding in the correct hardware that will support the amount of liquid that will be in your system. Stacking all this space into a loop will mean that the pump or pumps will need to be able to handle it or you can kill the pump, then your hardware.

Tried to simplify as best as possible and keep short...

Thickness is moot now of days you want more space. One of thickest rads you can obtain is monstra for inside a PC(Unless you have Case-Labs TX10 then you can install a a room full of rads inside). However Hardware Labs SR2 rad destroys the monstra in all the test except in Push/pull at 800rpm & below but SR2 still wins by a few. Once you hit 1000 rpm Monstra gets destroyed again in both P & P/P.

The biggest rad available is a 1260, those type of rads have to be special ordered direct from the company. Only the TX10 case can fit those.

Your fans should be static to start with.

You want a 54 to 60mm thick rad with allot of cooling space with high FPI. The best options would be EK's XE series or Hardware Labs GTR series. Both are high FPI & High RPM rads. I would go with Hardware Labs, There always my go to company for radiators. XE series can have some problems.

One thing I will suggest is avoid AlphaCool they have some of the dirtiest radiators around & nearly impossible to clean out. Even with chemicals.

For fans Corsair ML Pro or EK-Furious Vardar. EK's can go up to 3000 rpm and Corsair can go up to 2400rpm. EK's fans you will hear motor grinding, Corsair uses different technology and you will never hear the motor.

Current Build: Project Frost
Gaming Rig Build: Project Ice Dragon
