[PLEASE CLOSE]HP Pavillion DV5 Battery Charging Problem

I have recently acquired a HP Pavillion dv5-1235dx. While its fine for surfing and movies and such, it doesn't charge. It sits on 0% available (plugged in, charging). Even letting it sit turned off does not solve the issue. I was thinking I should buy a new battery and see if thats the problem. The laptop detects when I remove the battery. Batterys are like $20 on ebay. Think I should go for it?

Please close this thread. Using hp battery checker I found out that 1 cell had around 600mv where the others had 3400mv charge.
