Hello,

I'm not sure if this is the right category to post this in, but it's the closest I've found.  I bought some rgb light strips for my new pc build, and after installing them I noticed that when cycling colors they are opposite colors except when they are red.  after checking to make sure they were connected properly, I noticed that they have different layouts, with one being 12V,R,G,B and the other being 12V,R,B,G.  Is there some sort of adapter I can connect between the two strips that will cross the G and B channels so that they sync properly?

What motherboard is this on, I know Gigabytes is non standard per-say and lets you remap the pinout via software.

I have an Asus Z270-AR, but I have the light strips hooked up in series because this motherboard only has one RGB header.

What LED strips do you have the common standard is 12V,G,R,B and just make sure you don't overload the max capacity of the header if your wiring a long length of LEDs.

@Bobaganusche as @W-L had mentioned it is 12V,G,R,B - with our vibrant LED strips there's no need for a compatibility adapter though and we offer complete compatibility out of the box for a simple plug and play solution.

Sorry, I mixed up the letters on that previous post.  I have a CableMod strip that is 12V,G,R,B, and then I have a generic strip that I got on Prime Day that is 12V,B,R,G.

Your most likely going to have to fashion yourself an adapter that correctly orients the connections or get the ones with the common 12V,G,R,B type connections.
