I'm his friend. He's gaming and doing AutoCAD.

The PC won't work because Ryzen has no igpu

He didn't include a gpu cause he is getting that elsewhere, probably eBay. Thinking a GTX 960. Otherwise it'll be a 1050ti. But anything better is overpiced right now.

This build won't work at all, for his needs.

Good idea. He should learn to double check.

Oh! I apologise, but I forgot to include what I'm building it for. I'm going to be building it for gaming and autoCAD. Also, I am planning on buying a DGPU later, like a GTX960.

By later, I hope you mean when you buy all these components.... Otherwise it's a paperweight, dude.

Not going to happen. Ryzen 5 1400 does not have an iGPU, so you need a dGPU for the system to even work. Also, a GTX 960 is a bad idea IMO. You can get a 1050Ti for a pretty similar price anyway and the 1050Ti is better. If you could find a used R9 280(X), R9 285, or R9 380(X) for a reasonable price, that would be a good option but I'd probably still take a 1050Ti over one of those if prices are similar.

Cause it's only a dual core. He needs more cores for rendering in AutoCAD.

That case is too large for his needs  and that power supply is a downgrading him to a bronze.

Why do you say the 1050ti is better than the 960? o.O

Smaller case. Spend the extra $10 for the cube case if you want.

It's not a downgrade. The EVGA G1 units are absolute trash. B3>G1 regardless of efficiency rating. A decent quality Bronze rated, fully modular PSU like the B3 is the perfect PSU for a lower budget system like this.

because it is. It performs on par with, or better than the GTX 960, has more VRAM, is newer, and is a better overclocker. Oh, and it's also more efficient. If you could get a GTX 960 for $100, then sure that makes more sense.

I have not seen anything even close to that, so I'd need to see evidence for that.

From what I've seen, the 1050ti beats the 960 2gb and about ties, if not slightly behind the 4gb model.

A 970 would kick a 1050ti's ass... from what I've found online

There's the 3.5gb of Vram thing and the 1050ti is slightly better in DX12 and all that. There's also the price perspective.A 130 dollar 1050ti is better than a 200 dollar 970.You'll also be saving on energey

The 960 has 4GBs with more memory bandwidth. It also has more shader and render units.

I also don't know where you're getting the $130. Cheapest I saw was $160 for the 1050 ti.
