I was about to buy a intel core i5 7600k on ncix.com but the product description say that the socket is FC-LGA14C.
It is just a mistake from ncix or it is the wrong processor

Thank you
(sorry for the bad english)

Flip-Chip LandGridArray, 14c indicates a 1151 socket

It is correct

STOP HATING ON INTEL, It's based on personal preference.

it based on do you want to pay $500 CAD for a 7700k, or $450 for a 1700.

with the 1700 having 4 more physical cores, a not dead platform (LGA 1151 is done for this year probably), and about the same -/+ 2% FPS in gaming

Ryzen 5 3600 stock | 2x16GB C13 3200MHz (AFR) | GTX 760 (Sold the VII)| ASUS Prime X570-P | 6TB WD Gold (128MB Cache, 2017)

Samsung 850 EVO 240 GB

138 is a good number.

im pretty sure almost everyone choses ryzen over any mainstream intel cpu because it has a much better price/performance for gaming/multithreaded workloads

i havent seen anyone go around and scream ryzen because its better in IPC or GHz or some crazy shit like that..

Intell lol stupid crapple phone,

And actually the i5 7400 goes up to 3.5 on turbo I assume on 1 core 3ghz on all

where as the 1400 can oc up to 3.7/8 on all cores and has smt

so it outright wins clock speed and single thread is (speculation here) the same ish

Yeah clock for clock the i5 wins by two percent but ipc is irelavent once you oc the 1400 as it beats the i5 in single thread

and demolished multithread in comparison

it wins the ghz war

the single thread war

the multi thread war

the gaming war

and cost less

Why is everyone arguing here?

I only ask for the socket not ryzen is better and evrething
I already know wich cpu I want and promoting ryzen is not gonna change that!

I'm closing this topic if I find out how

No argument. Looks pretty much unanimous. There are two Intel CPUs that make sense right now. Otherwise Rysen performs better for less.
