I recently purchased a new GPU (RX 460)to replace my old Quardo FX 1800 after replacing the video card the fans on both the cpu and gpu start up but it doesn't post, and it seems like they are spinning a little slow. My theory was the PSU wasn't providing enough power so I looked at the wattage and it says it 550w so either A its just a jankie PSU and thats why or B the motherboard isnt giving enough power to the components help please.

Hmmm. For a PSU question, I'd ask @STRMfrmXMN

Just a gut feeling, but it could be your motherboard's BIOS needs updating. I've had newer cards in older boards that didn't boot until I updated (or in one case, downgraded) BIOS.

have you tried connecting you monitor to your motherboard?

For some reason, my GPU doesn't correctly boot thus I have to disable and re-enable the GPU in the device manager.

If this doesn't default you to the BIOS tab, it's in the BIOS tab. :P

Hm. Well I can't see the PSU not being able to supply enough power as it should have more than enough on the 12V rail to supply an additional 25W the RX 460 may use over the Quadro FX 1800.

I would like to fault the motherboard maybe, but I don't know how to verify that.

Other people have been telling me its the card because the Motherboard and my other GPU together work just fine and its not drivers or anything so im requesting a replacement
