So I was playing ark today and I had my case door open as my 1080ti gets decently hot when playing that game (its not in the loop) and I noticed my res water level had dropped about 1/3 of a inch or 8.4mm (once I measured) I popped open my case and I cant find any sign of leaks... so is it possible that it has just evaporated over the course of the last few weeks/months and I've only just noticed it or do you guys think that I'm just missing a super slow leak? I'm still relatively new at custom loops so pardon my ignorance.

It's usually due to air being stuck in the rad slowly making it's way out I've had to happen up to around 6 months after I assembled the loop but dropping very slowly.

If you have a dye in your system, look for signs of dried dye, but otherwise as W-L said, its probably just air moving around. There can be evaporation but its not something you notice on the scale of a few months.

It's been about 9 months since I first set this loop up

Just keep an eye out on the loop for any leaks if there is no sign of it occurring then I wouldn't say it's something to worry about. Evaporation does occur but very little and takes a long long time.

And I do have a red dye but I see no signs of any wetness or dry dye residue, I guess I'll just have to keep a close eye on it the next few days/weeks to make sure it doesn't keep dropping. Thanks guys I'm glad I can always come on here and ask my normally stupid questions and get answers. :)
