You could also use Kaspersky Rescue Disk that can install onto a USB thumb drive, create a bootable OS within the thumbdrive, and scan for viruses / malware without having to run windows directly.

You may also want to try booting into safe mode and installing Malwarebytes / Hitman Pro, or using both (uninstall one after you're done with it, or just exit the program) and cleaning up the residual files, along with a reputable virus scanning application.

Yes it is. It works for free, but you can pay for it to get more features (but the same detection rate)

Hey there, MalwareBytes work extremely well. I also use Hitman Pro. I feel like one complete the other.

If it does not do the job, try removing your drive(s) and scan it with another PC. The malware can not protect itself when you boot from another drive.

DO NOT FORMAT THE DRIVE! It's a lot of writes for no good reason since you can surely remove the malware without formating.

Download and run this tool: https://www.kaspersky.co.uk/downloads/thank-you/free-virus-removal-tool

It's a one time free scan from Kaspersky, Its is a very comprehensive scanning tool that will pickout the most difficult to remove viruses. Run the scan and re run the scan till it says that there are no threats on the system.

After you have done that, Go to the following directories and start deleting folders that are associated with the malware program, (That is if they are still there)

C:\Program Files

C:\Program Files\Common Files
C:\Program Files (x86)

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files

C:\ProgramData

%USERPROFILE%\appdata\roaming

%USERPROFILE%\appdata\local

You're looking for folders that you don't recognise the name of. Google it and see if it's a legitimate program or not. Be careful not to delete any Windows programs. So it is important to google it first. There are website that will tell you what the program is. Just purge all the ones that look suspicious.

If any folders are refusing to delete, launch into safe mode first. Just make doubly make sure that it is definitely not a virus.

Finally make sure you have a proper antimalware installed. You can get many great paired ones like Norton, Kaspersky and McAfee, But there is plenty of good free ones that should be satisfactory, I recommend Malwarebytes as well as Windows defender or Microsoft security essentials. If you already have antivirus just make sure it's working and is updated. Always make sure you keep antivirus up to date and be careful when downloading programs. Also make sure that Windows has all the security updates.

That's exactly what it means. You've got quite a bit of malware, and tons of residual files possibly from the malware.

So do I uninstall it all? Or just the one that says malware. Because I have been reading it carefully and the only one I wanted to uninstall in the first place was adware savings. Don't want to uninstall the wrong thing.

It wont uninstall anything that you want to keep, unless its full of malware, in which case it's easier to delete and recreate the file.

Alright guys I don't see savingscool anymore in control panel. Hopefully this worked, will have to wait to see if their pop ups appear anymore but other than that I believe it did work. Thanks alot for your help ;). Oh and should I delete malware bytes since I hear that many of these programs slow down your gaming experience. Or is it just fine to keep it?

You don't have to, Just make sure to be careful what you download, keep Windows up to date as well as drivers, and Windows Defender libraries. While not much, it's better than nothing.

Ya,my friends told me to download this software that would make minecraft run and look better. It was late at night and I was a little drowsy. So I think I might have clicked on an ad instead of the program I was supposed to download and thinking it was I clicked ok and run on everything XD. Just a few seconds later I and my friends noticed I downloading the wrong things. So I first turned off the computer naturally because I was scared and many pop ups were appearing. I then unplug the Ethernet cable and then turned on the computer. After that I uninstalled everything I downloaded that day. And it worked. I just realized that their was still one more thing which was savingscool that I did not notice. And after that day immediately installed ad block to never face the same mistake again.
