Good graphics card for these games?

Hi, this is my first post here of the linustechtips forums but i just wanted to ask what is the best rig i can put together that can play GTA V and Rocket League for the cheap i want at least 60FPS for both games. thanks :)

  1. The settings can be adjusted to achieve 60fps, generally, so it's more important to know your budget and location.
  2. What's the native resolution on your monitor?

the resolution is 1680 x 1050 60hz. its a Samsung SyncMaster 2053BW

for rocket league, it will, though you might have to turn some settings down for gta 5 to keep your 60FPS, and the GPU is getting old

It should. No matter what I'd go for it since it's decently specced for the price, and as soon as the mining craze drops, you'll be able to get dirt cheap used video cards that are great (Rx 570 for example). so you could upgrade it then, and run GTA 5 at high/ultra 1080P

Sweet deal on the PC, it should run all this stuff just fine.  670 will run gta 5 quite well too.

Basically, what you want is one of these cards: RX 570, RX 580 or GTX 1060. Either one of those cards will be able to play GTA V on high settings 60fps.

If you look at the above link, the rx 580 is faster than the gtx 1060 but chances are that you will never find the rx 580 in stock.
