can not extend partition?

the issue you have there is Windows will not allow a Partition to be extended if the free space is not contiguous (to the right of the partition you wish to expand into). Its very silly but that's just how it is you will need some third party software to do this for you.

Sometimes the data is fragmented and the space you want to extend into isn't continuous on the HDD platter, and de-fragmenting somehow doesn't help. It is one of Windows's quirks.

use free software such as Minitool partition wizard
