Considering Ryzen tops out around 4ghz, anything above a 120 dollar AIO is pretty much throwing your cash away tbh

 

Only reason I plan on swapping my H7 for a Fractal Celcius S24 is because it's summer in Arizona lmao

Didn't want to wait to use the system right away so used stock cooler for like 2 weeks and then overclocked it anyway lol A bit late now to swap cpus haha

Any decent air cooler should be fine like the Cryorig R1, Be Quiet Dark Rock 3 or the Noctua ones.  You can go AIO as well. A custom loop for Ryzen would be kinda overkill haha

Nope, only X cpu that does is the 1500x

AIOs would be overkill imho. Noctuas NH-U14S, be Quiets Dark Rock Pro 3 or Cryorigs H5 Universal are great options.

My go to would be the U14S, mainly because I don't like the fans on the Dark Rock Pro and H5 Universal.

Yip.. Both my 1600's are running at 3.8ghz on stock cooler. 

 

@OP Yeah I'd just do a Corsair H80i/H90 or a Kraken (personally I like corsair but those kraken coolers are so damn sexy) They'll be nice and quiet and keep temps low

No, and for @Reglare just get Noctua Nh-D15 SE-AM4 since you won't have to buy AM4 bracket again
