You didnt state an OS. Only Windows 8 and Windows 10 run "Apps". I know the Windows store does have a Netflix App.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

its running windows 10 but the idea is that it will make it easier to use with the remote (something like this: https://www.takealot.com/remote-control-for-pc-laptop-netbook-media-centre-xbmc-powerpoin/PLID38380767?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIv7_Z7YD-1AIVA7XtCh0YVw14EAQYASABEgKcIfD_BwE )

If you need a remote and stuff, you need to use something like Kodi. Kodi is a very powerful media center program. It supports TV tuner cards, as well as Apps. There is a large supply of 3rd party addons as well. You just need to be careful with what 3rd party addons you use as some of them give access to illegal content.

From what I have seen Kodi can read many video formats. I have it installed on my computer and it does well. It able to be run on an Amazon firestick and android as well. You would need to check on their website for supported remotes.
