S7 dying fast

So i just bought an s7 off Amazon, it's certified refebished but the battery life just sucks. It's in super good condition so Im assuming it's either features enabled by default that's draining it or the phone was just kept really good but used for a long time.

 

Is there known battery issues with the S7? Or should I get the battery replaced to make it last longer

 

It goes down about 20% an hour with modarate use

What are you doing during that hour? Using it constantly with the screen on?

- do you have social media apps? they tend to drain phones fast

- did you reset it?

not really android problem it's more of a universal problem, Facebook, Twitter can cut my 7plus battery life in half, i personally don't use any social media apps on my phone.

I have an s7 and I have the same results. Nothing can be much done about it besides getting a battery pack/case combo.

The only app I have seen with considerable "out of the ordinary" level of battery drain is YouTube and thats a bug.

Not overly surprising. Especially if he's not on wifi. My Note5 would only get about 4, 4.5 hours of SOT.

Some Web Browsing/Social Media/Youtube watching for about an hour drains it about 25%. Over night (8 Hours), my phone will be at 50% and be at 5% the next morning on standby. I know other people with the same issue. This phone would be my all time favorite if the battery were to be stable enough.

Nope, using to to reply to my girl on Snapchat and ltt

Nothing really, I only downloaded Facebook, SC, steam, Waze, no games just apps I'd use daily. My phone's only a day only (for me) it was bought refebished so used before
