I'm looking into getting one of the EKWB kits. Probably the Performance series with the 280mm rad. I have a 7700k and GTX 1070 in a S340 Elite. I'm just wondering (roughly) what kind of temps I can be expecting? Currently I'm hitting almost 70C on the CPU and 80C on the GPU while gaming, so if I can reduce the temps to maybe 60C/70C I'd be happy.

I think Kyle over at BitWit did a testing and saw roughly 50s on the card and 60s on the CPU, or maybe vice versa, but they were in the 50s to low 60s under load I believe using that kit.

Expect slightly better temp than those:

Thanks, I'll give it a watch. I saw JayzTwoCents video on the 240mm kit. But he had it on an open air test bench so I don't think it's comparable to what I can expect in a S340 Elite.

it is, this is watercooling, not air cooling, the temps varies because of the radiator, not the airflow... as long the radiator gets air, it's comparable

You'd be surprised, even in the S340, a relatively low-airflow case, temps aren't too far off, maybe 4-5C

Just a friendly note ... S340 is kinda small case.

I tried to have ekwb water cooling loop with that case, but in the end I just bought Define S, because I realized that S340 is too small case to work on my first custom water loop.

About temps ... expect your GPU to be somewhere between 45-60°C. Depends at what speed you will run your fans. Most likely you will get around 54°C.

CPU temps ... wel you are using 7700k which already have thermal problems because of adhesive that Intel is using ... my i7 4790k was running on 80°C stock settings without any OC with stress testing aida64.
