Which mouse?

So I can get a GTX 660 and a g602 for 55 bundled, or I can get the GTX 660 for 40 on its own and get a g502 separately. Is the 502 worth the extra? What are the differences/pros and cons?

Well, if the mouse is super important for your gaming, I wouldn't really go for the 602 or any wireless option prior to the G900 or the 403 wireless. On the other hand, according to your budget, anything with a 336x (3366, 3360, 3361) sensor kicks ass. So you can choose between G402, G403(Wired & Wireless), G502, G Pro and G303 for Logitech. The sensor is just now starting to proliferate among other brands, but AFAIK, Logitech still offers the best variety regarding ergonomics + sensor.

Would the 602 therefore be a bad option? He's giving me a good price but if it's a bad mouse then I can just take the gpu.

502 has a better sensor. not a fan of the G602's sensor, shape or wireless

I know of the sensor and I've heard allot of people saying the shape is better, but wireless is a good and a bad thing

Honestly for $15 that is a great deal for the G602, despite the fact the wireless is not quite up to logitechs latest and greatest, its a very heavy mouse and people have concerns over the sensor. I would just get the bundle for both and save for a better mouse down the line (such as the G502) as its only setting you back $15. Honestly the mouse will be completely adequate unless you are hardcore about your FPS.

I could even attempt to get him to do 50 for both, seems like he's just trying to get rid of it.

Hi Abyss. I would say they are both very solid choices, but ultimately comes down to the type of gaming you do. I would also highly encourage you (if applicable) to go to the nearest microcenter and try out both of these mice...to see which fits your grip & aesthetic styles.

That said, if you are an mmo/moba player (i.e., someone who needs some extra buttons but not necessarily caring about the weight systems or the 7 profiles you can interchange between) then I would certainly choose the G602. The 602's sensor (@2500dpi) and the wireless aspects of the mouse would be totally fine for that type of gaming.

However, if you are more of an FPS gamer (i.e., Overwatch, seige or doom) then I would say the increased price tag on the G502 is worthwhile. Primarily because of the extra, interchangeable weight system within mouse, in game DPI shift control (200 - 12000) and the FPS centric button layout.

Up to you at the end of the day, but those are some #reasons for you.

Don't forget to quote me (or someone else), otherwise we aren't going to receive your answers...

Wow thanks for the lengthy reply. The g502 would prob look better with my g910 but I am mainly an fps player but I'm not extremely competitive and might not notice the difference between wired and wireless. Thanks for the info.

is the g602 the one with 500hz polling instead of 1000?

If so, well I've not used it but please don't anyone tell me you can actually tell 1 millisecond.
