i dont understand the logic here . Dr.Lisa Su said in ryzen lunch about "core to core" against intel but why they par the ryzen 5 1600x in an i5 7600k ? its clearly not "core to core" the ryzen 5 1600x is 6C12T its clearly in an i7 line ? can somebody explain to me why ?

If so, perhaps she was comparing 1800x to 6900k.

They didn't compare it core to core,they compared it price to price,you might have misread/heard.

 

Ryzen is much better value,just basically forget every other Intel Core i5 CPU and ur good!

They compare on Price points... An R5 1600 is a much better long term purchase than the i5 7600k. It costs $50 less and includes a decent stock cooler. The R5 makes 2017 i5s redundant at every price point.

because the IPC of ryzen is still lower than intel, the CCXs hinder performance in time-sensitive stuff like gaming, and everything nowadays is intel-optimized.

in the future, the 1600 may be worth as much, buying used, as a 7700K.
