Out of 10? That's unusual for me, but I'd have to give it a 6/10...

Story wasn't good. 0.5/1

Replayability was decent, though boring since you can't move around the skills freely, but the world is devoid of things to do aside from random encounters. 0.5/1

Linearity was non-existent as far as non-story missions go, but missions themselves felt very linear in my opinion. 0.6/1

Music was enjoyable for the most part, key scores were on-point as well, and ambiance never gave away events like attacking animals. 0.7/1

Completion chance is very high for an open-world game with some considerably difficult challenges like assassinating from a glider. 0.8/1

3.1/5

How's the customization and setting? I want to give Far Cry 5 a chance, but only Primal was a 4/5.

I liked FC4 more, probably an 8.2/10 IMO. I loved the four Shangri-La levels, I think the towers are much more interesting climbs in FC4 than FC3, and I like the mountain setting more than the beach setting of FC3. Furthermore:

Far Cry 3's story got kind of boring after killing Vaas. He should have been the final enemy. Still a great game, but it lost its steam halfway through storywise. I loved the story until then.

Far Cry 4 spoiler

Plus I thought it was hilarious in FC4 that you had to take Kyrat into either a fundamentalist theocracy or a narcostate in the end.

I bought Far Cry 3 but I did not find it enjoyable, is it a good game or what?

What a bizarre question. :P I suppose it's a popular game that got reasonably good reviews and that most people generally liked. But if you don't enjoy it, then for you it's not a good game.

I personally had a not-terrible time with it. I haven't had the urge to play it again, nor any other Far Cry games (or basically anything else from Ubisoft) since, though.

I first got into far cry when I got Far Cry 3 blood dragon on my xbox 360 alongside Live Gold. I liked it a lot and played the story through. It was rather shot but fun. Then a few months later I bought Far Cry 3 on PC. I played it for a couple hours and just messed around with guns and a jeep. It was fun for a while, but I haven't really played it since. Story wasn't that interesting.

My stuff:

Eh, it was alright. Story was decent enough to keep you motivated to progress it, which is a bit more than I can say for Farcry 4. As per endings, 3's ending is a bit more definitive, whereas in 4, it feels like you've merely side-stepped.

I'm pretty sure most people play these games more for the mechanics than anything. Just like people playing the first 2 games for the level editor.

I think I enjoyed Instincts the most, because the game was more driven by the players curiosity to figure out what was going on.
