Quick question. Anyone here with mid-high end gear use spotify premium? Or strictly flacs?

I know plenty of people who use higher end audio equipment and who has a Spotify subscription. 

The difference in sound quality between the 320kbps OGG files of Spotify and a lossless FLAC, ALAC or WAV file is negilable at best. 

You reasoning for subscribing to Spotify (or Apple Music, Tidal, etc) shouldn't be whether or not the streaming is lossless. It should be all about a cost/benefit analysis. 

 

Personally, I don't have a Spotify subscription, but that has nothing to do with qualms with the audio quality. 

It has all to do with my adherence to physical media.

I run my audio strictly on my spotify and apple music and I use custom IEM and HE400i
