I need help with building a gaming PC. Maybe games like GTA V or overwatch? I need it to be 60 frames, more would be perfectly fine but I'll cap it to 60 frames. And no need to worry for wireless card or peripherals. Intel and AMD are fine with me. Going over the budget a little too is fine I just want to be able to build this before it's too late. Thank you for all the help I'm pretty much a noob. I just know parts of the pc and what everything does but I don't know what's compatible or what processor is the best for my case.

I agree with @fixitnow, it would be best to wait for gpu prices to normalize again, but if you want to get started on building the list he referenced is pretty great.

Ryzen 9 3950x - 64 GB DDR4 - NVME 980 pro SSD - EVGA RTX 3080 FTW Ultra - FAD CASE

You might want to wait as GPU prices are mad at the moment. But going AMD will be your best bet.https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Fbp7bj This should be ok

Get rid of the aftermarket cooler and get a r5 1600 instead and I would agree. The stock coolers for amd are really quite good so unless you are spending money on a really nice aftermarket cooler there isn't a reason to go with anything other than the stock cooler.

yeah people are just too used to tossing those out with intel, but AMD only have 3 different coolers and they're all rated for more than the chips they sit on. so if you're not getting a 100$ cooler no  use in replacing it.

Pretty good imo

Should have a 212 evo but uts not showing up for me

Hi, I suggest that rig to a mate of mine. The case may not be to your taste but it was there to fill a list. I put a 212 eve in as I use one and have no issues, but again its a matter of personal taste and usage.

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

Hey OP, don't know if you are still looking for input, but my opinion is that the worst mistake you can make when building a new system is skimping on build quality of essential parts that form the basis of your computer. Getting good quality components to pave a solid upgrade path further down the line (for example when graphics cards prices drop) should be your first priority. Thus, to prevent you from wasting money, I picked the cheapest gpu that I know, that is still good enough to run most games well. Thus you don't waste your money for nothing. When prices normalize, you can go ahead and get a better card. :)

I think that this build forms a great base for any future upgrade (next ones would be either a new gpu or ssd). However you decide, have fun building :)
