I've had the astro a40s for like 3 or 4 years and it's super busted now so I'm looking for a new headset. I've bought a couple recently but haven't liked how they fit. One of which was the steelseries arctis 5, but I don't like how the inside is real hard and it hurts my helix and anti helix. Any suggestions for comfortable headsets that sound decent as well?

I would for sure recommend HyperX Cloud/Cloud 2, which has either leatherette or velour pads (I prefer the leatherette, but the velour is very breathable).

They are easily the most comfortable headset I've ever had, and have a lot of modular options, like control box on the extension cord, and a mesh bag that comes with the headphones.

The main difference between the Cloud and Cloud 2 is that the connections are different (cloud has 2 3.5mm mic/stereo jacks but it comes with a mic/stereo to 3.5mm combo jack splitter, cloud 2 has 3.5mm combo as a default, but supports 7.1 with the usb sound card it has).

The only issue with the Cloud is my mic broke on it (it's detachable), so, I would probably get the Cloud 2.
