mechanical keyboard stopped working please help

a week ago i purchased a quickfire tk iand i am loving it. but today it simply will not be recognised by my pc but will work on any other pc i plug it into. i have unstalled the driver through device manager but to no luck how can i fix this please help. i am running windows 8 64 bitt

Well, since it works on other systems you know the keyboard is not DOA.

Have you tried other usb ports on your computer?

Other USB ports might work, I'm sure there are no drivers for that keyboard.

well problem has now been solved for some crazy reason the gold cable was working on every computer but not mine so i am using a western digital one i have lying around

All cm storm keyboards have the same cable issue i don't know why, i was going to buy the cm storm trigger but after reading all the issues cm storm keyboards have i opted out
