Debris in my gpu Waterblock. What to do now?

So something just got flushed into my waterblock and its pissed me right off. Looks like a part of an oring or rubber lining of some sort. Just my luck.

Try to flush it out somehow, maybe something higher pressure than computer pump.

The pump itself is barely pushing anything out. Theres literally a trickle of water entering the cpu block.

Yeah, you gotta take it out, attach a higher pressure system, and try to flush it out. Doesn't have to literally be a pressure washer, maybe garden hose pressure is enough. Is this worth it to get the rubber out? Probably not lol, but yeah.

Maybe I'm being overly paranoid.....but if there is a piece of rubber washer in the block, then that means it's not where it's supposed to be -- you know, protecting your components from leaking water cooling parts.

Drain the loop and take the GPU out and split the block - its really straight forward. Remove the o-ring and re-assemble carefully tightening the hex screws. I've done mine a few times.

The real issue is, where DID IT COME FROM?

No idea. I drained the system and it dissappeared, possibly got sucked up into the radiator or 2nd gpu but i cant see inside of that so no idea honestly.

I got some bad news dude.

You need to fully disassemble the loop to find out where it came from. Most likely a fittings, rad cap, maybe even the connector to the GPU block

Possibly from one of the the O-rings somewhere, although it could have come from inside the rad as it is a Used rad that i bought of ebay so that might be why.

I would still check, for sure, if something leaks cause you didn't check you're gonna regret it :D
