What is up with these ebay listings?

I stumbled across one of this guy's ebay listings, and they are way too cheap!

Does anyone know what's happening here?

My thoughts are that this is a scam, where someone's account has been stolen, but I though I'd get some extra opinions.

Sounds like someone who would ship you a rock instead of the actual drive. I wouldn't bite.

You've just wasted your time...

It's clearly an account that was hijacked by a fraudster.

30$ for a top of the line laptop amongst other things, and free shipping.

30$ doesn't even cover shipping.

I've most likely wasted my time, but I either end up with a super cheap 2TB SSD or get a refund. It's not exactly much effort on my part.

Well obviously, it's a quality bargain!

Yeah, very likely a scam. Either that, or some idiot who mistook TB for GB or just plain doesn't know what he's selling. You'd be surprised how many people sell hardware not knowing its real value. I got my Radeon 6850 off some local guy for half of that eBay listing's price.

Exactly, I've got stuff from liquidators that just get pallets of hardware and don't know what they're selling. Thinking SSD's cost the same per GB as HDD's? Who knows? Either way, the worst that can happen is wasting time :)

Not even a crackhead would sell at these prices.

Apparently my 850 Evo has been dispatched. I’m in Australia though, so it’ll be at least a couple of weeks if anything materialises. I’ll let you know ?
