Refurb Razer Computers

Hey all, I know I've been asking a lot of questions here, but this is the last one, I promise.

On my quest to find a good deal for a laptop, I've stumbled upon an interesting page on Razer's website where they're selling refurbished laptops for quite a bit less than retail.

Has anyone had any experience with Razer refurbishing? Thanks!

 

Also, before you say it, I know this isn't a great example of good price to performance. I'm looking for performance with decent build quality.

avoid Razer, they have poor build quality, poor quality control and bad customer support overall. get a thinkpad or if you have the money go for something like an xps 13.

??? build quality is great. And EVERY customer support situation ive had with them has been great as well.

Huh, didn't think these were an issue. I was going for the Razer over the Dell XPS 15 because of the upgraded specs.

yes the build quality is great if you compare it to a piece of paper, but if you compare it to even a macbook which isn't even that well build compared to business laptops, then it looks like a child's toy and then if you compare it to a business laptop, then it basically is trash. The feel of a laptop means jack shit when it comes to build quality, a clear and easy example of this is old ThinkPads, they have a plastic shell which makes them feel a bit eh, but good luck killing them. As other people also have linked Razer uses some of the worst quality components you can buy.

Their customer support are fucking stupid, I have talked to them plenty of times and had to explain their own laptop to them, I think they just read up from a piece of paper and hope for the best because they have zero knowledge of their products.

 

You might have been lucky to get a blade that works out of the box, but there are many people that get them with flaws out of the box and even more break very fast
