So I was wondering, does anyone else not really care about how many likes they get? I know some people who check their stuff every 5 seconds to check if they've received a like. 

 

I just post stuff to be helpful, not to get likes. I enjoy getting likes to know something was helpful, but I don't do it for the likes.

You took that out of context. All I said was that I was surprised that I got so many likes on some posts, trolls even, while @xrex64 tries he doesn't get many. I also credited my long standing in the community.

I do not intensionally post comments just for likes, but i still get a satisfying feeling when i see the like'o'meter increase.

I liked this cuz it's true/helpful.

He always tries to embarrass me at school and stuff. it's really getting on my nerves. I also wouldn't have said that kind of thing if he didn't like it.

Which would really make me and you polar opposites, seeing as I broke down a single page of 50 notifications once, and I think the number came out to like 2 mentions, 7 quotes and 41 likes.
