Graphics card not working properly please help

i bought a MSI GTX 1050 TI a mounth ago and installed the latest driver from Nvidias website Version; 382.53 WHQ

and it should be working fine but when i go to play leauge of legends i have bad fps droping to 10 and having messages pop up saying

"an unknown DirectX error has occurred and Leauge og Legends cannot start 

Please make sure your video is using the latest video drivers from the manufacturer."

and i tried downloading the driver from the disc that came whit the graphics card but it said it whas outdated

i know this is badleay written but pleas if you have the time help me it  whould mean a lot

Did you replace an old GPU with the 1050 Ti?

try uninstall all drivers use DDU. then try to reinstall LOL.

i heard from a freand that it can screw up my computer im scared of doing it

remember to quote people! make sure you have a backup of your pc. DDU can screw a bit with your pc, but the chance is very, very little

Try this:

Go to C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\Config

Delete game.cfg file

 

This is sth i found on LOL forum. maybe you can dig more there. seems not a driver issue but the game itself.

the DDU solution did not work and im sure its a problem whit the graphics card Driver becous Minecraft is also running at 20 fps 

if you could please help

So your old gtx950 works well right? first thing i would do is switch back to 950 and see if you are getting your old performance. (reinstall all the drivers ofc).

 

Then use sth like MSI afterburner to monitor CPU and GPU usage/temperature when you are gaming. see if GPU is 100% load or near it. if its not, its likely a driver issue, which you may want to try an older version of the driver (more stable maybe?).

 

if its already 100% or older driver wont work, i would say RMA the GPU.

i dont get this csgo is running at like 60-100 fps and i cant run LOL at 60

if csgo is working then its probly LOL......use afterburner to see wuts the GPU usage in these two games.

so ive noticed that every low end game runs at 10-20 fps like LOL,gmod,MC but high end games like ark survival evolved and csgo run good at 60 fps
