as the title says what would be a good place to buy pc parts from? i would like a place thats has a good reputation and has really low price

Newegg and Amazon might be your best bet, use this site to choose your parts at the lowest price. it also shows you where to buy them. Now just choose the parts you'd like!

where do you live? this would be usefull...

current system:  i5 2500k @4.5ghz cooled by antec 620 - asrock z77 extreme 4 - 8gb corsair RAM - MSI Twin Frorz 7950 in crossfire - XFX 850w  - Fractal design R4 - samsung 840 120gb ssd - 500gb wd blue hdd - 1440p korean qnix monitor (love it!)

If you live near a Microcenter, they frequently have deals on motherboards and CPU's that can't be beat anywhere else, but the deals are usually in-store only. I got my 3570K for $149.99, but I don't remember when.

 

Other than that, what everyone else said. Newegg, Amazon, NCIX, etc.

 

EDIT: I meant $169.99, and it was November last year. Still an amazing deal at the time. Cheers :)
