Posted June 24, 2017 Hi guys!! The first picture shows my connection speed when the hotspot is turned off and the second picture shows my connection speed when hotspot is turned on through Windows 10 and my mobile is connected to it. Is this huge difference in the connection speed normal?? Also, I made sure that nothing, network related was running in the background in both my PC and my mobile while conducting the speed tests. I did this test several times and the results were pretty consistent.
Posted June 24, 2017 When you have your hotspot on, your connection is being routed through a bunch of seperate wireless networks. I would say that your ping is pretty high for it, but everyone gets high ping once in a while, especially on unreliable wireless networks. If you're just browsing the internet, you'll be fine. Will it make any difference if I use third party softwares like mHotspot?
