If you're strapped for cash, go with the 6700k build for now, and when the time comes around again, you can upgrade the bios on the Z170-A to support the 7700k if you ever plan to go that route.

 

If you really want to overclock and/or are doing anything CPU intensive, you can get the 7700k build. Either way it comes down to what you're going to be doing with the PC at the end of the day.

Usage? In terms of saving money and future compatibility Ryzen is a much better choice, but if you use it on games only then I'll choose the 6700k build. The graphics card does seem out of place though. You already bought that?

I'm waiting for newegg to come in stock again which is the price for the gpu and yes i'm mainly gonna focus on gaming and maybe little on school

I'm just trying to game so is the mobo good for the build? Is there a significant diffrence between 6700k vs 7700 in performance? I'm not really looking to OC

6700k is faster than 7700 at stock speeds. The mobo is fine. It will be easier to sell an oc ready set in the future than saving money on a cheaper board.
