Keep the chipset a bit cooler, but as long as you have good case air flow and flow over the motherboard that won't be a worry anyway.

 

I think. The x299 chipset could run warmer than others or something, not seen anything about it though.

Both are from asus and are great quality, just look at the huge specs list and decide what you want/need.

so wait for your cpu, i think it will take awhile, as soon as you got your cpu order the mobo from a fast shipping company like amazon, i dont know how fast is B&H. but they usually ship fast. that way you have the time to do some research and maybe ROG stuff comes out. i like the strix better though if you have to get one of those. check some gigabytes too. i remember i saw a very good gigabyte in computex . might have been amd not sure.

Are you only shopping from B&H? Cos all they have rn are Asus and msi. If you can check on newegg they have a much larger selection.
