Try plugging the monitor into a different PC. I the lines are still there, you might want to RMA.

Tried using 3 different cables, DP, HDMI and DVI on my XPS 15. And to rule out Windows or Geforce drivers, I tried it on my Macbook as well. No dice. So must be an issue with the monitor somehow. Thanks a lot guys!

This started about a week ago, random stripes started appearing on the screen on my first monitor (Acer XG270HU2  144hz, 1440p) but not my second one (some random Aoc 1080p 60hz).
The stripes usually appear where there's a lot of the same color and usually on dark colors as you can see in the images below.

Spoiler

Screenshots obviously doesn't show it so I took two images with my phone instead.
They're taken within seconds of eachother when I had Discord open. But one of them is taken on my main monitor and as you can see, it's showing those lines that I was talking about, and the second one that has no lines, is taken on my second monitor.

Has anyone seen anything like this? Suggestions?
It seems like a software issue since the stripes come and go in certain places like the Windows taskbar. Though, all my drivers are up to date and I haven't read about anyone having this issue before.

Halp? :(

Meow.

It could be a bad cable did you try switching the displays and can you? It can also be Memory or processor inside the monitor.

Well that sucks, tell us how it goes. ASUS support can be... difficult.

Hahahah that's usually why I just buy new stuff instead of spending insane amounts of time with trying to get it fixed. But I just can't afford another 600$ monitor right now...
It's Acer support though, but I assume that might be worse...
