resolved Error Code 89

Hey guys,

just a quick question I'm getting an error code 89 on my Tyan S7012 Motherboard, its not listed on the page, first I thought it was because of initial setup but nope, it stayed like that for half an hour before I powred it off...

Gonna attach a picture of the current config on my desk for initial testing if everything works.

My thoughts maybe both of the CPU Power connectors on the dual socket motherboard need to be plugged in?

But that would be just plain stupid right?

anyways maybe you guys have an Idea, I'm really out of the whole server setup stuff atm

ahh yeah and to keep it short IO isn't powred as well....

What cpu and hardware? 

 

Try remove everything but one mem stick, all drives, use the onboard graphics.

ok going to switch to onboard now,

removing one stick...

 

rest of the hardware is:

16 GB ECC Samsung PC3-106000R

Intel Xeon X5650

yeah know what the error was stupid me put the ram in the wrong slot

so fkn stupid
