I just finished ordering the last of my parts and am now pretty nervous as the time to actually build the pc rather than plan it out and save money, has finally come. Any tips you experienced pc builders would like to share with me? What thing should i make sure i do and dont. Anything would help. Also can anyone explain or link a video to how to connect to front panel connectors as i am still a bit confused on that. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Haven't built it yet but:

1. Watch a bunch of build videos. They help a lot for me.

2. Make sure you touch the case/PSU often to avoid static charge and breaking your components.

3. If you have a friend that is also interested in PC building, bring him/her along. It's always better to have two hands.

Best of luck!

With that build, you should definitely get a SSD. Also, you can probably tone down the motherboard or keyboard in order to get a 144hz monitor, which will feel way nicer than the 60hz

On your mobo and in its manual there's a part that tells you which pins connect to which parts of the front panel.

Your case has the connectors.

Look at the connectors and match up the connectors to the headers on the mobo.

Also, did you order everything already? Because psu is quite meh for the price and no ssd in a build this expensive is kinda eh....

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

Don't forget to plug in the CPU power.

Plug the RAM in to the correct slots.  When you only have half the slots occupied you want to put it in the ones typically labelled A1 and A2.

If it doesn't turn on, make sure you flipped the PSU on.  And you may have just not wired the power button correctly.  Only LEDs have + and - on their connections.

Already bought the parts man i had a really hard time deciding if i should go for an ssd but in the end decided to put the money in a nice motherboard and keyboard and wait a little longer for things to load. In my opinion 2 minutes for windows loading is not the end of the world as for the 144hz im not very competitive in games and would much rather have the higher resolution.

Since the fans are 3 pin can i connect them to the 4 pin fan header on the motherboard? If i can does it matter how i plug them in?

Yes you can connect 3 pin to a 4 pin header. They should only plug in one way. Depending on the board they might run at 100% so you might need to adjust the speed with fan software or in the bios etc.

Yup you can, just make sure to connect them to the case fan headers not the CPU fan headers so that you can control them.
